Custodian rewarded for fine month for Essex club

Dagenham & Redbridge stopper Elliot Justham has been named Vanarama National League player of the month for November.

The custodian has been rewarded after turning in a string of impressive displays in recent weeks, helping Daggers to three wins out of four in the month.

Though he only kept one clean sheet at Bromley, the 28-year-old performed miracles between the sticks in the win over Fylde and also did well against Havant & Waterlooville.

The victory over Fylde was a landmark day for Justham, who only became a father for the second time just two hours before kick-off.

The former Luton Town man had to hot foot it to the ground from the hospital once his baby daughter was safely delivered, before arguably turning in his greatest performance in a Daggers top.

November was certainly a memorable month on and off the pitch for Justham, and he now has a nice award with which to remember it by.
