Match results: The Tuesday Open on Willow Lake this week was won convincingly by in-form Alec Roberts on peg 22 when he weighed in with an impressive 92lbs - part of his double success at the Tylers Common fishery, writes KEITH LEVERETT.

Taking second spot at the Tuesday Open competition was M Amos on peg 11 with 68lbs, third on the day was John Hunt on peg 23 with 47lbs.

Fourth place went to Bill Reynolds on peg, four with 34lbs, fifth on peg five was M Broomsgrove with 30lbs, sixth J Penhaligon with 25lbs on peg 21.

The match will be on Ash Lake next week.

The Saturday Open on Ash and Willow Lake this week proved another happy day for that man Alec Roberts with 71lbs 12ozs on Ash, using pellet at 12.5 metres,

Taking second spot on Willow was Rav Pisano on peg 21 with 63lbs 5ozs, third on Willow on peg nine was S James with 62lbs 8ozs, fourth on Ash on peg 22 Rob Bishop with 53lbs 12ozs.

Fifth on Willow on peg fivewas Dennis Lipscombe who weighed in with 52lbs 8ozs, finishing in joint sixth peg four on Willow Chris Vanderflet and on Ash on peg three was P Law with weights of 49lbs 8ozs.

Match details: The Saturday Open matches at Tylers Common on the Ash Lake will be run by Bobby Wager.

Reports indicate that Wagtail Lake at Tylers Common is still producing quality carp, good sizes for the time of the year.

Lee Tappin enjoyed a good day when he fished Wagtail Lake and had carp to 12lbs, also bream on paste from the second island.
