FA Cup fourth qualifying round: Boreham Wood 2 Dagenham & Redbridge 2

Two stoppage-time goals kept Dagenham & Redbridge in the FA Cup with a 2-2 draw at Boreham Wood in the fourth qualifying round.

Daggers boss Peter Taylor made four changes follow the loss to Wrexham in the Vanarama National League last week, welcoming Ben Goodliffe, Harry Donovan, Lamar Reynolds and Chike Kandi to his starting XI.

The Essex club handed Wood the chance to take the lead in the 14th minute when Elliot Justham rushed out of his goal and clattered Josh Umerah in the box.

The home forward dusted himself down to take the penalty kick, calmly slotted past Justham to put the Hertfordshire outfit in front.

Wood then doubled their lead with five minutes remaining in the match through Justin Shaibu to seemingly all but end the tie as a contest.

Daggers were able to pull one back in stoppage time when substitute Tomi Adeloye scored a penalty, his first goal for Taylor’s men.

And the visitors were level with another stoppage-time goal as Luke Pennell scored to equalise.

The two sides will meet again at Victoria Road on Tuesday night in a replay to see who will progress to the first round proper.

Wood: Huddart, Ilesanmi, Ricketts, Parry, Shakes, Champion, Umerah, Murtagh, Fyfield, Ugwu, Balanta.

Subs: Burbidge (GK), Thomas. Shaibu, Gibbs, Creese, Ndiaye.

Daggers: Justham, Nunn, Goodliffe, Pennell, Gordon, Wright, Donovan, Robinson, Reynolds, Mullings, Kandi.

Subs: Moore (GK), Davey, McQueen, Adeloye, Leighton, Munns, Harfield.
