Young striker has agreed to extend his stay at Victoria Road
Wayne Burnett is hoping Ade Yusuff can kick on after signing a new one-year deal to remain with Dagenham & Redbridge.
Yusuff joined from non-league Chatham Town last summer and scored twice in his debut season.
Daggers manager Burnett revealed he was pleased with what he saw from the young forward and is expecting even more next year.
“What impressed me about Ade was the effort that he put in and I think that is why he did so well,” said Burnett.
“He also works incredibly hard, so hopefully he can continue that and we can continue how well we finished last season.”
One man who will not be lining up alongside Yusuff next season is defender Brian Saah, who will leave the club when his contract expires.
Burnett admitted he will be sad to see him go, adding: “Brian was probably a little unfortunate, he found himself out of the team and he couldn’t get back in.
“That’s why he went out on loan to get some game time at Woking. We just felt it was right for the club and Brian to go their separate ways.”
