Daggers agree new deal with London Borough of Barking & Dagenham that will run until March 2047

Dagenham & Redbridge have agreed a deal with landlords the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham to extend the lease on their Victoria Road ground until 2047.

The new, 30-year deal follows several months of negotiations between the two parties, with Daggers thanking their landlords for their continued support in an official club statement.

The new lease will run until March 2047, allowing Daggers to comply fully with various regulatory conditions.

It will also enable to club to continue investing in the infrastructure of the ground in the coming years.

Victoria Road has been home to Daggers since the merger between Redbridge Forest and Dagenham in 1992.

The ground has undergone plenty of change since, with the 800-seater main stand being completed in the summer of 2001.

Following promotion to the Football League, the club also replaced the Pondfield Road terrace with a 1,240 all-seater stand in the summer of 2009.
