Daggers defender helped Essex club to fourth win in a row and third clean sheet in succession on trip to Bluebirds
Dagenham & Redbridge defender Kevin Lokko took to Twitter after the 1-0 win at Barrow in the National League to praise the squad’s spirit, and the fans who travelled to the game.
The Essex club were cheered on by 40 of their own fans who made a round trip in excess of 600 miles to Holker Street for the match.
Those who did travel were treated to a fourth win in succession for John Still’s men, with Morgan Ferrier netting the decisive goal in the second half.
As well as being the fourth win in a row for Daggers, it was also a third clean sheet in succession too.
Lokko at centre back helped Daggers keep another shutout at the Bluebirds.
And the defender expressed his delight at how Saturday’s game went on social media after the win.
“Don’t you love a 1-0 away win! Great battle today. Safe journey Daggers fans who made the journey,” posted the 22-year-old, on loan from League Two side Stevenage.
