Daggers drew 2-2 at Eagles
Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still declared himself happy with his side’s opening pre-season friendly after a 2-2 draw at Bedford Town.
Daggers had to come from two goals down at the Eyrie to get something of a positive result, with Morgan Ferrier and Fejiri Okenabirhie netting in the game.
Both goals came in the second half, with Daggers having changed most of their starting XI at half-time.
But Daggers boss Still says he was happy with how things went, though knows there is still much to improve over the course of the rest of pre-season.
“I’m really pleased with how it went. We passed the ball decently, not too much organisation, but most of the work we have done so far has been physical,” he said.
“The intention was to get back to England and have three works working with the balls.
“We made some chances, there were a few errors, but we were really pleased.”
