New deal for Daggers chief runs out in June 2019

Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still has signed a new two-year deal which will see him stay with the club until June 2019.

The Daggers boss’ current deal was due to expire in the summer, but the club have now rewarded Still for a stellar campaign so far in the National League.

The 66-year-old returned to Daggers for a third stint in January 2016, but was unable to prevent relegation from League Two.

This season, though, has seen Still rebuild his squad and help plenty of non-league talent flourish.

Still has overseen a promotion push this campaign, and though form has stuttered in recent weeks, Daggers remain in a good position to go up this season.

Daggers will hope Still crowns the announcement of his new deal with all three points against Forest Green this afternoon.

And hopefully it is the kick-start the squad need to get their promotion bid back on track.
