Dagenham & Redbridge have the best attacking players in the National League, according to goalkeeper Mark Cousins.

The Daggers stopper is tasked with keeping out opposition forwards, so is probably pleased not to have to face his attacking colleagues in a match.

Already this season, Daggers forwards have netted 27 of the Victoria Road side’s 38 league goals.

And Cousins believes that demonstrate why John Still’s side have one of the most potent front lines in the league.

“The boys we have in attack are great. Michael Cheek is still getting back to form, but he’s shown how good he is,” said the 30-year-old.

“You have the pace and the power of Morgan Ferrier, and Corey Whitely looks like he’s getting back to his best.

“Even on the bench, we have good options like Mason Bloomfield and Chike Kandi, who is very quick, and the goals we’re getting shows how good our attack is.”
