Young forward came through the ranks at Daggers and could return this summer
Mason Bloomfield is set for a move back to Victoria Road in the summer with Dagenham & Redbridge understood to have agreed a deal for the Aveley man.
Now 20, Bloomfield came through the ranks at Daggers before making his debut in a 2-0 League Two loss at home to Northampton Town in September 2014.
However, the forward did not make any further appearances for the first team under then-manager Wayne Burnett before being released in the summer of 2015.
Since then, Bloomfield has gone on to play for Chelmsford City, Billericay Town, Grays Athletic, Witham Town and Brentwood Town before arriving at Aveley.
Bloomfield’s form for the Millers, netting six times since December, has alerted Daggers boss John Still, who is understood to be keen on the forward.
However, it is believed any deal bringing Bloomfield to Victoria Road will take place in the summer, allowing Bloomfield to see out the Ryman North season with Aveley.
News of a potential deal for Bloomfield comes less than a day after Daggers signed Elliott Romain from Eastbourne Borough, while the Essex club are also rumoured to be after Bowers & Pitsea’s Brad Warner.
