Defender arrives at Daggers on a free transfer after signing a two-year deal

Bondz N’Gala has become the fourth signing of the summer for Dagenham & Redbridge after joining on a free transfer from National League rivals Dover Athletic.

The 27-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Daggers and joins defender Ben Nunn, midfielder Daniel Sparkes and striker Morgan Ferrier in moving to Victoria Road this summer.

N’Gala began his career with Premier League outfit West Ham United, but his only senior appearance came in the League Cup before leaving in 2010.

Since then, the centre-back has gone on to play for Plymouth Argyle, Yeovil Town, Portsmouth, Barnet, Eastleigh and most recently Dover.

During his time with Barnet, N’Gala won what was then the Conference National title in 2014-15, something he would like to replicate this term with Daggers.

N’Gala will likely compete with Daggers skipper Scott Doe, Craig Robson, Josh Staunton and Luke Pennell to start at centre-back this season after joining.
