The Dagenham & Redbridge walking football team had plenty of fire power in attack as they beat Arsenal twice in quick succession, scoring 12 goals in the process.

In their first match, Daggers triumphed 4-1 despite falling behind to an early goal from the Gunners.

Two minutes after conceding, Daggers were awarded a penalty which Ron Taylforth converted, before providing the assist for Pete Wallace to score the second goal.

George Harman then scored Daggers’ third with a screamer from just inside the opposition half, while Vincent Ball netted the final strike of the first game.

The second match saw Daggers do even better against their Arsenal rivals, recording an 8-1 victory.

Taylforth got on the scoresheet again as he nabbed four, while skipper Mick Harris beat three Gunners players before scoring from halfway.

Also on target were Wallace and Ball, who scored the final two goals of the second game for Daggers.
