Vanarama National League: Hartlepool United 1 (Noble 13p) Dagenham & Redbridge 2 (Goodliffe 90, Robinson 90+2)

A stoppage-time winner from Matt Robinson saw Dagenham & Redbridge complete a late comeback to beat Hartlepool United 2-1 in the Vanarama National League.

With Daggers chasing a fourth league win in a row, boss Peter Taylor opted to name an unchanged XI.

The Essex club suffered an early blow when Pools skipper Liam Noble fired them ahead from the spot in the 13th minute after Alex McQueen had fouled Mark Kithcing in the area.

From there, Hartlepool had multiple chances to add to their lead, but were denied either by the woodwork, visiting stopper Elliot Justham or their own poor finishing.

Though on the back foot for much of the game, Daggers looked to have salvaged something from the game when Ben Goodliffe headed home a free-kick in the final minute of normal time.

But deep into stoppage time, that joy turned to euphoria when Robinson slammed home his first goal since joining Daggers in 2016 after substitute Tomi Adeloye’s initial effort was saved.

It was a goal that means the Victoria Road outfit will now chase a fifth straight league win when they play host to Halifax Town on Saturday.

Hartlepool: Loach, Kioso, Kitching (Newton 88), Magnay, Noble, Donaldson, Muir (Dinanga 85), Donaldson (McLaughlin 77), Featherstone, Richardson, James.

Subs: Butler, O’Neill.

Daggers: Justham, Nunn (Adeloye 82), Robinson, Pennell, McQueen, Balanta, Goodliffe, Phipps (Kandi 66), Wilkinson, Munns (Harfield 54), Wilkinson, Onariase.

Subs: Moore, Clark.

Referee: Joe Hull.

Attendance: 2,030.
