Defender missed most of last season due through injury

Luke Pennell has agreed a one-year contract extension with Dagenham & Redbridge.

The 20-year-old, who can play as a centre back or left-back, missed most of last season after suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage.

Pennell joined Dagenham in March 2016 and signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Victoria Road club.

But injuries have so far restricted his appearances, yet the former Dustable Town ace will hope to impress next season.
