Archant London sports reporters Ned Keating and Jacob Ranson discuss the fixtures lists for our two National League clubs

Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge discovered their National League schedule on Wednesday afternoon – but has the fixture list been kind to the two local rivals?

Archant London sports reports Ned Keating and Jacob Ranson sat down to discuss key fixtures for both the O’s and Daggers.

Orient start away to Sutton United on August 5 in a match that will be shown live on BT Sport.

With a plastic pitch at Gander Green Lane, it could be a tricky welcome to non-league football for the O’s

John Still’s men, meanwhile, begin their term at home to Barrow with revenge on the mind.

Daggers were unable to get the better of the Bluebirds last term and lost both meetings, including a 4-1 defeat at home last November.

The festive fixtures sees Daggers and O’s play each other twice, though there is a game with other opposition sandwiched in between.

And then there is the run-in, when both clubs will hope they still have something positive to play for.
