Stevenage recall defender Kevin Lokko from Dagenham & Redbridge

Dagenham & Redbridge defender Kevin Lokko has been recalled from his loan spell at the club by his parent club Stevenage.

The 22-year-old joined the Daggers in August, and has since made 25 appearances, managing to find the net twice.

The former England C international, who can operate both at centre-back and left-back, will now be hoping to get his chance at the League Two Outfit.

Lokko only joined Boro from National League outfit Maidstone United two days before being loaned out to the Victoria Road-based club

A club statement said: “We’d like to thank Stevenage FC and Kevin for the loan and wish him every success back at his parent club.”

The young defender will link back up with striker Joe White who left Dagenham to join Stevenage on an undisclosed fee.

John Still’s men will now have limited options in defence with this departure and there is still rumours of captain Scott Doe also leaving the club.
