A SUPERB game of football played on a quagmire of a pitch saw Amec under-12s emerge victorious over Excel and reach the final of the cup.

Amec flew out of the blocks and created chance after chance in a one-sided half, with the Excel goalkeeper in fantastic form.

Goals from Curtis Dawe (2) and man of the match Mohammad Sharif, ensured Amec play Buckhurst Hill at Aveley FC on March 8.

Amec: Shepherd, Derrick, Payne, Fudal, Dove, Tinsley, Brown, Greaves, Barwick, Sharif, Dawes, Humphries, Bunduku.

Prostar 3 Dagenham United 4

IMPRESSIVE Dagenham United secured a place in the League Cup Final after recovering from three goals down to win.

Reeling by Dagenham's spirited response, Prostar gave them an own goal, while Charlie Herring scored a hat-trick.

VALENCE UNITED under-12s snuck past Thurrock in dogged fashion.

Thurrock struck early on but undaunted, Valence levelled through Remi Awosanya before Joel Mensah won it with a fine goal.

Barking Colts 0 Ryan 5

BRAVE Barking Colts under-15s were soundly beaten by Ryan.

Tom Wiltshire and Joshua Whincup might have netted for Colts, but they fell behind just before half time and it was downhill after that.

Man of the match Lee Palmer Ryan Harvey, Leon Tyrrell and Jamie Blandford all impressed though.

Jays 4 Euro Dagenham 0

JAYS under-14s won a great game due to brilliant teamwork and two goals from man of the match Animasun.

There were further strikes from Swaby and Surridge as Jays cruised to victory with plenty to spare.

FREE-flowing, attacking football saw Euro Dagenham under-11s beat Romford Royals.

Billy Dobson earned a well deserved man of the match award for his outstanding passing and defending. Goals from Jehow and Everitt saw Euro to victory.

Shield Academy 0 Cobra A 4

AN exciting clash saw Cobra under-10s romp to victory over Shield Academy.

A stunning hat-trick for Ola Ayoola and a great goal from Jack Hare in the final minutes of the game sealed the win. Man of the match was Mark Adams for an outstanding all-round display.

Cobra: Benmouna, Marshall, Vialls, Ayoola, Smith, Hare, Adams, Wastell, Syer, Plumridge-Biggs.

Riverside Rangers 2

Woodford Youth B 1

RIVERSIDE RANGERS under-10s narrowly defeated Woodford Youth B in what was always going to be a tough game for both teams.

The lack of regular football showed early on as Rangers failed to get their passing game going.

Woodford kept the pressure on throughout the first half, with the Riverside goalkeeper Gregg Sach, who was man of the match, stopping everything thrown at him.

With the scores level towards the end of the first half, Riverside threatened the Woodford goal and they netted through Andrew Dukes.

Tom Beckwith claimed the second for Riverside and though they conceded soon after, held on to win the game.

Riverside Rangers: Sach, Thompson, Robery, Dukes, Khan, Johnson, Davies, Syal, Beckwith.

Dagenham United 1

Buckhurst Hill 0

BUCKHURST HILL were defeated for the first time this season by a battling Dagenham United under-nines.

Fredericks in goal was Dagenham's man of the match in an encounter of high drama decided by Cole's winner.
