Elim United 2 Aldborough 5

ELIM'S under-15s passed up the opportunity to climb to the top of the league as they surrendered a 1-0 lead before eventually succumbing 5-2 to Aldborough.

It was Sabajet Shuti who gave the hosts an early advantage with a well-taken goal but by half time, Aldborough had drawn level and were soon to show their counter-attacking prowess after the restart.

Elim were trying their hardest to force the issue but found the visiting keeper in fine form as he pulled off a string of fine saves to deny the hosts.

However, it was Aldborough who made the most of Elim, pressing forward as they scored four times on the break and Moses Kamanda's late strike proved a mere consolation.
