A FIRST half barrage of goals saw Armada under-11s saunter to a 4-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Clarion at the weekend.
Charlie Herring opened the scoring inside the first two minutes, while Dylan Plunkett, Daniel Hogger and Luke Lebeau were all on the scoresheet before half time.
Clarion came out battling after the break but resolute defending from the Armada back four denied the hosts even a consolation goal and gave the visitors a much-needed three points.
Team Armada: Fagg, Rhodes, Turner, Oldroyd, Taylor, McMahon, Herring, Plunkett, Fuller, Brown, Lebeau, Hogger, Grant, Jones.

United Amateurs 1
ALTHOUGH the gale-force winds were not conducive to good football, both teams played their full part in a fine match that saw Colts under-11s run out narrow winners.
Roneo had the wind to their backs in the first half but only had a Gregory Carolan strike to show for their efforts at the interval.
Almost immediately after the restart, the impressive Joseph Nunn extended the Roneo advantage and despite United hitting back to set up a tense finish, fine goalkeeping by Gulio Husaj and brilliant Colts defending ensured victory.

A SUPERB all-round team performance was integral to this comfortable and much-deserved win for an impressive Roneo under-10s.
The visitors dominated the game from the start, and by half time were 2-0 up thanks to goals from Shawn Harvey and Rian Davis.
In the second half Aim High were totally outplayed, and a goal from Morgan Garner sealed their fate as Roneo outclassed their opponents.
Roneo Colts: Stephenson, Lowry, Davidson, Harvey, Garner, Bell, Russell, Davis.

THE A team got the better of their club mates in this eagerly-anticipated under-10s clash between the two Armada outfits.
In a first half full of incident, the A's took the lead when Kia Brown converted from the spot after a handball in the area, before going 2-0 up when Jake Bryan's corner went in after a defensive mix-up.
Having snuffed out all their opponents attacks thanks to the hard work of Bryan, Jamie Rhodes and Keava Gould-Ryan, the A's sealed the win when man-of-the-match Bryan netted his second from close range.
Team Armada A: Tyler, Rhodes, Bryan, Gould-Ryan, Brown, Acheampong, Donnelly, Blogg.
Team Armada B 3
Singh Sabha 1
TEAM Armada B produced a fantastic performance to dispatch a good Singh Sabha side 3-1, with Kai Ashun taking many of the plaudits by grabbing a sublime hat-trick.
Superb goalkeeping from Joshua Kitenge and brilliant defending from Samuel Haynes ensured that the visitors were kept at bay early on.
Ashun gave Armada the lead just before half time and netted twice more after the break to complete his treble, with Alfie Sullivan also producing an outstanding display.

Romford Borough Youth A 1
BORO under-10s were surprisingly lacklustre in this game and by being so out of sorts, surrendered any chances they had of taking all three points.
Man of the match Samuel Franklin had put them into the lead with a fine effort but within five minutes, the hosts were back on level terms, as Armada showed their determination and were rewarded by Jake Bryan's long-range strike.
Boro tried to stamp their authority on the game in the second half but the Armada pulled out all the stops to deny the visitors a winner.
Romford Borough Youth A: Elliott, Smith, Odelusi, Curtis, Franklin, Murphy, Maher, Pulham, Wright, Course.
Team Armada: Acheampong, Blogg, Brown, Bryan, Darling, Donnelly, Rhodes, Tyler.

JAKE MASON was the hat-trick hero as Roneo triumphed in an end-to-end thriller of an under-nines game.
He fired them ahead in the first half with a long range free-kick, only for Mambu Kawah to burst through and hammer an equaliser.
Scott Burdett headed against the post for Roneo, then went into goal in the second half and pulled off a brilliant fingertip save low to his left to stop Borough taking the lead.
Skipper Louis Rector set up Mason to put Roneo back in front and soon afterwards, with Borough threatening to level for a second time, the two again combined brilliantly in a rapid counter-attack from deep inside their own half for Mason to complete a superb treble and seal victory.
Roneo Colts: Brown, Burbidge, Burdett, Kaya, Mason, Rector, Rowe, Wakely, Wigg.
