A THRILLING clash was won by an attack-minded Upney Tigers under-14s, who were taken all the way by a tenacious Bardag.

A hat-trick from Joshua Ambersley was the catalyst for the resounding win and Craig Wallace and David Purton netted braces to kill off their opponents' brave challenge.

Upney Tigers: Moralee, Puddick, J Collins, Chapman, Barclay, Clark, Ojetola, Rutterford, Purton, Wallace, Newall, Baker, Ambersley.

Dagenham 5 Woodford Youth 2

BRILLIANT Dagenham under-13s surged past Woodford Youth with sublime attacking football.

Goals looked possible whenever Dagenham poured forward and Michael Frostick (2), Michael Wheeler (2) and Desmond Davis all obliged. Jack Antin was man of the match.

Dagenham United: Wilson, Dhaliwhal, Shapiro, Philips, Wheeler, Frostick, Tugwell, Antin, Brailey, Davis, Bowles, Loades, Sargeant.

Bardag 3 Colebrook Royals 1

BARDAG under-13s eased past Colebrook Royals in style thanks to Alex Akicti's stunning hat-trick.

The striker was a pest throughout with his running and anticipation and offered his team-mates a pacey outlet. He was man of the match for his endeavours.

Bardag: Martin, Marshall Dahler, Bazun, Sparks, Igbedion, Hadjkura, Rose, Soetan, Jones, Spiteri, Aladui, Thomas, Akicti, Bako.

Dagenham United 0 Aztec 2

AZTEC under-13s cruised to an impressive win over Dagenham United although they were made to fight for a priceless win.

For a top-of-the-table clash it was not pretty, but it was competitive and Gregoire conjured the moments of class with a brace of goals just when they were needed.

Aztec: Fowler, Cichon, MacDonald, Griffin, Cope, Conners, Matthews, Rice, Gregoire, Blackburn, Walsh, Scott, Chew, Redwood.

Jays 12 UPR 2

BREATHTAKING attacking football saw Jays under-12s steamroller UPR in devastating fashion.

Man of the match Mubanga notched five goals, Hawkey registered four times while Quinell, Knight and an own goal completed an emphatic win.

Jays Boys: Quinell, Allen, Bernard, Yomba, Bray, Mubanga, Kiley, Gardner, Da Costa Knight, Hawkey, Fort, Dunnage, Donovan, Bridges.

Senrab 2 Parsonage Colts 3

A GRIPPING clash went the way of Parsonage Colts under-11s but not without a major scare.

Having established a 3-0 half time lead, courtesy of goals from Edobor (2) and Yexley, the contest should have been over.

But Colts took their foot off the gas and allowed Senrab back in, though they held out with backs-to-the-wall defending, yet it should have been more comfortable than this.

Parsonage Colts: Chafer, Okoh, Ayres, Shayle, Grigg, Pickett, Mallett, Yexley, Edobor, Saunders, Ditkevicius, Abutoh, Benmore, Evendon.

Byron Red Star 3 Tactical 3

(Tactical won

on pens)

AN EXCITING cup tie was won in dramatic fashion on penalties by Tactical under-11s.

Well-taken goals from Brandon Sendeke, Stuart Greaves and Kurtis Dawe saw them go 3-1 ahead and a place in the next round was within reach.

That, though, was only achieved after a dramatic penalty shoot-out in which Ben Dennett, Benny Coo-per, Callum Goldsmith and Henry Lyddiatt scored after Byron's stunning fight-back.

Tactical: Haim, Merritt, Greaves, Sendeke, Payne, Nutter, Hurley, Lyddiatt, Ewuoso, Cooper, Dawe, Goldsmith, Lowe, Wright, Falola, Dennett.
