LEYS under-17 struggled to break down a determined Colebrook oufit at the weekend.

The hosts started strongly and took the lead just before the break.

Leys came out fighting in the second half and Michael Jago evened things up and although the visitors battled to try and register the win, found themselves up against a stubborn Colebrook back-line.

Man of the match was Danny Peachman.

COBRA under-13s battled back from two goals behind to beat UPR at the weekend.

The hosts raced into a two-goal lead which they held until the interval.

Lawrence struck back to reduce the arrears before Lawrence and Pickett struck as Cobra registered the win.

Baldry was named man of the match.

Barn Sports 5 Bar Dag 6

A hat-trick from new signing Patrick Okoji helped Bar Dag under-12s to their first victory of the season.

Barn Sports went three-up before captain Adam Thomas struck back to bring his side back into the match.

The hosts struck again, before Okoji hit his trio and Robert Sinfield grabbed the winner.

EMH 3 Amec 2

AFTER last week's thumping in the Cup final, Amec under-12s produced a spirited performance against a strong EMH side.

The game ebbed and flowed with Amec slipping to defeat, despite a double blast from Mohammed Rafiq.

Dagenham United 3

DAGENHAM UNITED under-11s showed tremendous spirit to win this topsy-turvy encounter at the weekend.

Okaka gave the visitors the lead after five minutes, an advantage they held until the break.

Lakeview equalised before Jones struck for Dagenham.

The hosts once more drew level, before Broughton was the hero, scoring a wonderful free kick to secure the points.
