Barking Colts 0 Ryan 8

BRAVE Barking Colts under-15s were beaten by league leaders Ryan but left with their heads held high.

Colts were ravaged by illness which meant that they could only play with eight fit players, but Callum Hill was in fine form.

Captain Ryan Harvey was forced to play in goal and he made outstanding saves, while Joshua Whincup and George Brown both went close for Barking.

Their spirit could not hold out in the second half though, and Leon Turrell, Tom Wiltshire, Ryan Bussey and Paul Barlow were all a credit to the game.

Barking Colts: Harvey, George, Brown, Turrell, Wiltshire, Barlow, Hill, Whinchup, Bussey.

Prostar 3 Cobra 4

COBRA under-13s went top of the league after winning a dramatic clash with Prostar despite having a man sent off.

After falling a goal down, Cobra fought back to level via a Staines strike and another two goals from him gave him his hat-trick and his team a comfortable lead, until Prostar scored twice to even the scores.

Staines, however, secured the win for Cobra with his fourth goal and in the process fired them to the top of the league.
