BARKING boss Dave Ross admits that only a win will do when they take on Clapton at Mayesbrook Park on Saturday, writes MATT DINER.

The Blues face a Clapton side who have not won in 10 matches and Ross feels his team must come out victorious.

"To be fair, I do expect a win on Saturday," he said.

"I would be very disappointed if we didn't walk away with all three points."

The Blues boss wants commanding performances at both ends of the field as he looks to take his side as high as possible with seven games remaining.

"Again will be very disappointed if we don't keep a clean sheet," said.

"I'm also looking for goals on Saturday. It will be nice if we created more chances and stuck them away. We'll try and work on set pieces in training as well as finishing."

Ross is looking to take advantage of Clapton's poor run to take them through to an important match against local rivals.

"We need a good win to set us up nicely for our trip to Romford next Tuesday," he said.

"It is a big game and it's a derby and to beat Clapton, and beat them well, will be a real confidence booster for us.
