AZTEC under-13s are the Division A Cup winners after they edged past Ilford Colts in a tense final at Aveley.

Aztec started well and for the first 10 minutes looked comfortable, but then Ilford started to take hold of the game and dominated the remainder of the half, although neither team created many clear-cut chances.

In the second half, Aztec again started brightly, but this time they were able to sustain it.

Ilford still looked dangerous, but it was Aztec who took the lead through Walsh.

Aztec then added a second midway through the half when Matthews netted with a well-struck free kick.

Iford pulled a goal back with a minute to go, but Aztec managed to see the game out.

Dagenham D 3 Euro Dagenham 2

DAGENHAM D under-13s battled away and grounded out a comfortable win at the weekend.

The home side dominated the first half and took a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Desmond Davis and Michael Wheeler.

The second half was more evenly contested, but Dagenham were deserved winners thanks to another goal from Davis. Man of the match was Michael Frostick who kept the defence and midfield intact throughout the game.

Dagenham D: Wilson, Wheeler, Frostick, Antin, Brailey, Bowles, Sargeant, Raybe, Ahmet, Josiah, Maguire, Davis, Loades.

Dagenham United 4 Woodford 2

A WORKMANLIKE performance from Dagenham United under-11s was enough to see off a resilient Woodford side.

A fine hat-trick from Charlie Herring and an Alfie Hawes goal sealed the points.

Dagenham: Herring, Hawes, McGlynn, Murphy, Retter, Fleming, Meleady, Hazell, Adeshina, Johnson, North, Fairburn.

BarDag 3 Tigers 2

BARDAG under-11s went top of Division C after this narrow win.

Tigers opened the scoring, but man of the match and captain Adam Thomas fired home the equaliser.

Tigers once more took the lead after the break, but a Charlie Sprent double, including a last- minute strike, gave the home side victory.

BarDag: Lovett, Thomas, Smith, Drury, Sinfield, Sprent, West, Wright, Hadjkura, Halil, Morrison, Viallis.

Aztec 2 Tactical 1

TACTICAL were narrowly defeated in their last under-11s match of the season.

Aztec took the lead before Tactical struck back just before half time through a Benny Cooper scorcher, but the home side hit back to grab a winner. Man of the match for Tactical was Joe Nutter.

Tactical: Haim, Greaves, Nutter, Lydaitt, Cooper, Dawe, Goldsmith, Wright, Dennett, Lowe, Hurley, Sendeke, Payne.
