THE United Services Barking KDF Karate Club enjoyed success at their grading event.

Omar Shafi (purple belt), Emma Bayley (green belt), Lee Kyson (yellow belt) Harry Sabin (first yellow belt) and Pamu Hettige (first red belt) all impressed. The students are pictured below with their instructor, Sensei Tony Gray, 5th Dan.

"The club is trying to promote karate in the local community to benefit young children as discipline and respect seem to be lacking in society," said Gray.

"So karate is a good thing with myself and many of my students going on to be national champions and internationals winning many titles for the Barking club.
