Match results: The Tuesday open match on Ash lake was won convincingly this week by Mickey Hood on peg 10 fishing the long pole with pellet he weighed in with an impressive120lbs, writes KEITH LEVERETT.

Second place at the Ash Lake match went to John Hunt on peg 8 fishing the long pole with pellet, he weighed in 71lbs, 3rd Dennis Lipscombe on peg 49 fishing the short pole on pellet weighed in 69lbs 8ozs.

Taking fourth place was Jason Collings on peg 21 with 68lbs 8ozs fishing pellet on the long pole, 5th Danny Cross on peg 22 fishing the long pole with pellet, he weighed in 38lbs, 6th Barry Rodgers on peg 23 he weighed in 34lbs fishing long pole on pellet.

The match next week will be held on the Willow lake.

The Saturday open at Tylers Common on the Horseshoe lake was won this week by Alec Roberts on peg 1. He weighed in 68lbs 9ozs fishing the pole close in with pellet, and finished ahead of second placed S. James with 64lbs 2ozs, while Jason Collins was third with 61lbs 10ozs.

Taking fourth place was Mick Wallis, weighing in with 55lbs 14ozs, 5th John Hunt with 55lbs 8ozs, 6th Alan Stepton with 54lbs 4ozs.

Stillwater report: The match lake on the A12 Cuton Lakes is still producing some reasonable catches of roach quality perch and skimmers. Pike anglers catching on deadbaits.

Tylers Common has also been fishing reasonably well from all the lakes. The feeder is producing well, with maggot the favoured bait. Pole anglers catching on the pellet.

Hemp caster and wheat catching most species on Wagtail. Pellet on Ash and Willow. On Wagtail lake, Martin Taylor had 15 fish which comprised of 4 bream to 13lbs 9ozs, also 8 carp to 18lbs 10ozs also 3 tench to 6lbs 4ozs.

All the fish were caught on pellet of the second island and it seems that the 13lb 9oz bream is the biggest bream caught this year.

=Match details: On Wednesday April 29 at Tylers Common there is a charity match in aid of Richard House Childrens Hospice.

The draw is at 8.00am fishing takes place from 10.00 until 4.00pm. Tickets are �20 in advance, match details from John Bell on 020 8599 2285 or 07724 841 722 also for ticket availability.

The April 29 charity match will be fished over Willow and Ash lakes , it is a 50 pegger.

The prizes are attractive with the overall winner receiving �150, winner on each lake �100, 5 section winners each of 10 pegs �50 each. The overall winner will pick up �300 pound total. Also last place lowest weight �50 .
