Stillwater details: On Wagtail Lake at Tylers' Common this week this week, Jim Turff used home-made bait and had five carp to 14lbs 8oz on peg 19, writes KEITH LEVERETT.

Another angler enjoying his day on Horseshoe lake during the week Tony Kirk had 14 fish, the biggest was 13lbs and the smallest 4lbs he had approximately 80lbs of fish, all the fish were caught on luncheon meat.

Match results: The Tuesday open on Ash Lake at Tylers Common was won by John Hunt on peg 8 with 31lbs on pellet, 2nd Alec Roberts with 29lbs 4ozs, 2nd R.Pisano with 25lbs 8ozs, 4th Len Golding with 15lbs 4ozs, 5th T.Eustace with 14lbs 8ozs, 6th Dennis Lipscombe with 14lbs 4ozs.

On Sunday, Elm Park and Hornchurch DAS held their November monthly club outing at Tylers Common on the Horseshoe Lake and had to cope with snow, freezing ice, rain and sunshine but enjoyed a good turnout of members looking for an exciting day.

Some 21 members fished with a total weight of 26lbs 5ozs. Top weight to local lad John Aldis with 10lbs, 2nd Dave George snr with 6lbs 8ozs, 3rd Peter Lester with 5lbs 6ozs.

Taking fourth place on the daywas George Flatman with 2lbs 4ozs, 5th Colin Luff with 2lbs 3ozs. There were 16 blanks.

The Saturday open on Ash lake was won on peg 8 by Steve James, with 83lbs 12ozs all fish caught on pellet fishing the long pole.

In second place was George Manoli with 61lbs 3ozs, 2nd John Hunt with 42lbs 2ozs, 4th Alec Roberts with 41lbs, 5th D.Booth with 39lbs 8ozs, 6th D.Ealding with 31lbs.

Match details:The Saturday open matches at Tylers Common will now be run on the Ash Lake.

On December 6 at Puddledock fishery, there is a charity match in memory of Derek Bundy who passed away earlier this year.

It is planned to make this an annual event will be an Annual event. It is a 100 peg match.

The tickets will be £25, this includes day ticket, pools, a buffet and donations.

The draw is at 8.30am fishing 10.00 until 3.00pm.

Derek was an angler who enjoyed his fishing, no matter what the weather and his wife Barbara will be at the event to help raise funds for St Francis Hospice, with a raffle on the day.
