Lee and Resham go bronze in Sheffield

THERE was great success for two Barking Karate Club members as they battled through to win medals at the recent National Championships in Sheffield.

Under the watchful eye of coach Tony Gray, there were bronze medals for Lee Rose and Resham Sira.

Rose earned his medal in the Junior individual over-80kg kumite class.

While Sira picked up his in the cadet individual kumite under-60kg.

Almost 600 competitiors took part in the English Karate Federation National event, making it the highest entry of all championships for the last 10 years.
