MANOR Netball Club held a rally for a variety of age groups at Barking Abbey School on Saturday with their own under-10 side winning the title.

They lost just one of their nine games and even beat two under-11 teams on their way to glory. Team coach Sandra Moynihan was thrilled: "I am very pleased with the girls' performances," she beamed.

"Their young age means they have to play Hi 5, a five-a-side version of the game in which they all play a different position in each half."

A total of 36 teams from under-10s to under-13s attended the tournament and the newly-established Manor under-12s also had a great day finishing fourth, while a depleted Manor under-13s did well against strong opposition.
