Stillwater report: Matt Haycock was a happy man after two days fishing on Wagtail Lake when he had 19 fish. His biggest was a 18lb carp and also a fine 17lb 8ozs fish.

During his visits to the lake at Tylers Common, Matt also had barbel to 5lbs and all the fish were caught on tutti fruiti boilies, writes KEITH LEVERETT.

There are plenty of fish coming from the other lakes at Tylers, the margins and the long pole have been fishing well, also the feeder.

Pellets, corn and red maggot, also pellets catching plenty of double figure bag.

Match results: The Tuesday Open at Tylers was held on Ash and Willow because of the strong winds.

Top weight went to Jason Collins (Ockendon Bait and Tackle) with 120lbs 8ozs fishing peg 10 on Ash Lake, he fished pellet well over the depth on the pole, second was Graham Dack (Middy) on peg 11 on Ash Lake weighed in 103lbs 8ozs, third was Alec Roberts (Middy) on peg eight on Ash Lake, who weighed in 101lbs.

Taking fourth place S Daniels (Tylers) on peg eight on Willow Lake weighed in 96lbs, 5th Rav Pisano on peg 10 on Willow Lake fishing the maggot feeder weighed in 87lbs, sixth was Dennis Lipscombe (Oakwood Angling) on peg 11 on Willow Lake 76lbs, fishing pellet in the margin.

This week the match will be held on Willow Lake.

The Saturday Open on the Horseshoe Lake had its first golden peg match and it was won straight away by Mickey Hood on peg 50 with 99lbs 14ozs on peg 50 fishing pellet, second was Alec Roberts, who weighed in 60lbs, third was Alan Stepton, who weighed in 58lbs.

In fourth place was John Hunt with 51lbs 8ozs, fifth was Dennis Lipscombe with 33lbs 12ozs and sixth was S James with 33lbs 8ozs.

Match details: On Wednesday April 29 at Tylers Common there is a charity match in aid of Richard House Children's Hospice.

The draw is at 8.00am fishing 10.00 until 4.00pm. Tickets are £20 in advance and details are available from John Bell on 020 8599 2285 or 07724 841 722.

The match is fished over Willow and Ash Lakes and it is a 50-pegger. Overall winner will net £150 and the winner on each lake will win £100.

Dennis Lipscombe will be running the Tuesday Open matches which are alternating between Ash Lake and Willow Lake.
