Kingsley Hall Judo Club brought home nine medals from the recent London Area Orange Belt and below event held at University of East London’s (UEL) Sports Dock.

It proved to be a golden day for five of the club’s students with brother and sister Tommy and Megan Batstone both picking up the top prize.

They were joined at the top of the podium by Amy Bundy, Ryan Cooper and Danielle Porter, while Justas Smitrivs and Lauren Landers each secured a silver medal.

Casey Porter and Paris Ntumba rounded off the medal contingent with bronze, but there was also some good performances from Riley Terry, Danny Batstone, Danny Hannessey and Everett Woodward.
