NEW CAMBELL under-16s netball team have made the National Cup finals after cruising through their league, writes Matt Diner.

The Barking club will compete next month at Wolverhampton University, Walsall after winning all five of their South East Regional League matches with ease.

Coach Tracey Daly was delighted with her side's performances.

"I was very happy with the way they played," she said.

"They won the league convincingly. They are a very hard working team, and moral at the moment is great, most of them have been here five years and they all really enjoy it."

New Cambell made the last five in the nationals two years ago and Daly believes her team could win it this time around.

"They really can go all the way this time," she said.

"It's all about getting it right on the day. The girls have done lots of work and we have had them training with the senior team, so they are prepared as well as they can be.
