Stillwater report: The Wagtail Lake at Tylers Common has fished brilliantly during the past week with some fine catches for anglers including Tony Knight, who had 24 bream to 5lbs 7ozs and three carp to 6lbs 10oz, plus two tench to 4lbs 8ozs on expander pellet on the pole, writes KEITH LEVERETT.

Michael Norman had six carp to 8lbs 2ozs alongside six bream to 5lbs 6ozs on strawberry boilies.

Alfred Mucenka had eight carp to 15lbs 8ozs plus one bream of 6lbs 2ozs.

Match results: Brunswick Brothers AS members this week headed for Maidstone town centre and fished on the Medway where George Cole took top weight with 20lbs 10ozs, second place went to Phil Smith who weighed in with 18lbs 10ozs.

Taking third place was Sylvia Sykes with 15lbs 12ozs, fourth Terry Taylor with 14lbs 14ozs, fifth Dave Franklin 11lbs 8ozs, sixth T. Flanagan with 7lbs 8ozs, seventh R. King with 7lbs, followed by Dave Farman with 6lbs 8ozs, Barry Judge with 5lbs 10ozs, and N. Warren with 8ozs.

The total weight recorded by the Brunswick Brothers' 13 members who fished at Maidstone was 108lbs 12ozs.

The open match on Willow was won by Dennis Lipscombe, who weighed in with 93lbs using pole and pellet.

Second-placed John Hunt with 80lbs, third M. Amos with 57lbs, Bill Reynolds was fourth at the open match with 43lbs.

The Saturday open match on Horseshoe Lake was won in style by John Hunt with 88lbs 13ozs using pellet and corn.

Second place went to Alec Roberts with 76lbs, third Mickey Hood with 62lbs 4ozs, fourth Len Golding with 52lbs 8ozs, fifth R. Pisano with 48lbs 4ozs, sixth L. Crowhurst with 46lbs 2ozs.

If you are interested in booking the Easter Monday match, take note that is selling out fast so I would advise you to get in as soon as possible.
