A STAND-OUT performance from Tommy Rawlinson saw Barking under-eights defeat Stanford le Hope.

The Sharks made a great start with a breathtaking hat-trick of tries from Tyler Woodouse.

Alfie Seaton then set up skipper Liam Hill for another score as Barking led 4-2 at the break.

In the second period, Grace Smith set up Rizzo Smith to touch down, but the real star was Rawlinson, who was awesome in defence.

He scored a well-deserved try, before Woodhouse completed the victory with a sublime individual effort.

A LATE try by Sebastian Guina gave Barking under-eights a narrow triumph over Stanford.

Marcus Lloyd ensured the Crusaders had a dream start with two tries, before Tyler Woodhouse grabbed another double to make it 4-3 at half time.

Ifeaty Obiora got the scoring underway after the break, linking well with Sam Tribe, before Lloyd completed a treble of tries.

Stanford kept in touch though, and it was left to Guina to strike late on.

TYLER WOODHOUSE notched his second hat-trick of the day as Barking under-eights were too good for Cheshunt.

The hard-working Charlie Chitty scored first, after a great from Grace Smith, before Woodhouse took over.

He cut through the defence time and time again to go over three times, before Marcus Lloyd linked with Alfie Seaton to score late on.

BARKING under-eights saved their best performance for last as they ran in seven tries against Cheshunt.

Ifeaty Obiora gave the Crusaders a 2-0 lead with an early double, while Michael Cummins went over soon afterwards.

Two fine tries by Reece Sayer and Marcus Lloyd put Barking 5-0 up at the break, while despite changes in the second half, the Crusaders still kept their high tempo.

Tyler Woodhouse came on to score twice and ensure the youngsters were unbeaten for the day.

Barking: Cummins, Sayer, Smith, Tribe, Hill, Chitty, Obiora, Rawlinson, Seaton, Woodhouse, Lloyd, Guina, Smith.

n BARKING under-12s enjoyed two wins at the weekend with a 19-0 victory over Stanford and a 15-10 success against Cheshunt.

n Barking Colts produced a seven-try demolotion to thrash Enfield Ignations 39-0.

First half tries from Chisholm and Wilkins with a conversion from Quirk, put Barking 12-0 ahead, while 'Tank' (2), Rees, Peasnell and Fraser all went over in the second period, with Howard kicking one conversion.
