ROBERT Clack School staged some pulsating netball action as 11 junior schools battled it out for the right to be one of four in the local area who would go through to the final of the Junior Schools' Borough Championships.

The top four schools who emerged victorious were Grafton B, Five Elms, Becontree A and St Vincents, who join Manor, Warren, Monteagle A and Moneagle B in the eight-strong final having earned their final placings last week in Barking Abbey's equivalent event.

Jade Godfrey, PE teacher at Robert Clack, said: "It was a good turnout and was well managed. The kids enjoyed it and there were 110 of them out there as well as lots of parents cheering them on."

The final, which will see boys and girls playing in the same teams, is due to be played tomorrow (Thursday) at Robert Clack.
