Stillwater report: Ann Fisher had a good day at Tylers Common, fishing Wagtail Lake on peg seven and had a quality roach tipping the scales at 2lbs 12ozs.

While Mick Watton, fishing peg 20 on Wagtail, caught seven bream to 6lbs 8ozs and plenty of smaller bream to 3lbs. He was using the pole with paste.

The Match Lake at the Warren Fishery is still fishing well, morning and evenings are providing the best catches of tench and bream.

Catch of the week goes to 10-year-old Charlie Borley, who started with a 4lb tench and later landed a 6lb 2oz tench.

Also enjoying his visit was John Covill, who had nine tench to 6lbs in a morning session.

It has been a frantic week at the Main Lake at the Warren, as the bream, tench and carp switch on to their autumn feeding frenzy to put on weight for the winter.

Over 45 carp of over 20lb have been landed from all parts of the lake, with anglers landing up to six carp a session.

Two fish reported over 30lbs with a well named mirror 'The Parrot' caught from the beach on Saturday at just over 35lbs and another tipping the scales at 32lbs.

Harry Jenkins took six carp in a single session with four over 20lbs, with Alec Ockendon catching three carp including a magnificent 26lb common.

Junior Jack Wallace landed two excellent commons, weighing 23lbs 8ozs and two at 25lbs from the pier on Friday.

Best of the non-carp catches was club member Colin Hardy, with a mixed bream and tench catch from the logs area of 90lbs, with the best tench just below 9lbs.

This adds to the impressive total of huge tench caught during the last three months with 13 fish coming out at over 10lbs.

Match results: Elm Park & Hornchurch held their annual Ladies and Junior match at the Brentwood Lake. Ladies winner was Ellen Steadman with 8lbs 10ozs, second was Bett Delamain with 2lbs 11ozs, third was I Parish with 1lbs 6ozs, and fourth was E Gibson with 1lb.

The winning juniors was Mathew Luff with 21lb 12ozs, second was A Gibson, with 15lbs 12oz, third was A Darling with 9lbs, fourth was B Williams with 4lbs 5ozs, fifth was M Anderson with 3lbs 12ozs, and sixth was B Parish with 3lbs 11ozs.

There was a small club match on Willow Lake this week. Top weight went to Ron Salmon with 188lbs of quality fish on peg 11. He used bread and pellet.

British Bakeries this week fished Lavender Farm Snake Lake. Top weight went to Les Atfield with 15lbs, second was Jason Ailey with 10lbs 13ozs, third was John Camden, with 10lbs, fourth was Paul Fairbrass with 8lbs 15ozs, fifth was Joan Ailey with 8lbs 12ozs and sixth was Dave Camden with 8lbs.

The Saturday Horseshoe match was won on peg 13 by Dave Ealding (Canvey Angling) with 110lbs using luncheon meat, while second on peg 11 was Rav Pisano (Galleywood) with 104lbs, third on peg seven was Jason Collins (Browning/Wickford) with 79lbs 4ozs, fourth on peg 53 was Steve James (Ockendon bait and tackle) with 79lbs.

Elm Park & Hornchurch held their annual John Jenkinson memorial match at their Doddinghurst Lake.

Top weight went to Peter Jones with 38lbs 6ozs, second was Peter Ainlie 35lbs 2ozs 8dm, third was George Flatman 18lbs, fourth was Mickey Steadman 14lbs 5ozs 8dms, fifth was John Scarlet 13lbs 12ozs, and sixth was John Aldis 11lbs 13oz.
