Stillwater report: Local lad Steve Morgan fished the Ash lake at the Tylers Common fishery and certainly enjoyed a day to remember when he had approximately 100lbs of small carp, fishing pole and caster and corn.
Meanwhile fishing Horseshoe lake on peg 22, Nevill Smith also had an impressive 72lbs of carp using corn and pellet.
At Tylers Wagtail lake on peg 33, Gerry Kemp had 12 bream weighing between five and 6lbs on home made boilies.
Match results: The latest Tuesday Open event was won in style by Alec Roberts, fishing pole and pellet and weighed in 90lbs, second place went to J. Penhaligan with 86lbs.
Third place in the Open went to Mickey Hood who weighed in with 85lbs, fourth place to R.Pisano with 79lbs.
Top honours at the Saturday Open this week was won by Len Golding with 71lbs 12ozs using the maggot feeder, second M.Hodgeson with 57lbs 14ozs.
Third place went to D.Davies with 54lbs, Graham Dack fourth with 49lbs, fifth Dennis Lipscombe with 44lbs 12ozs, sixth place to Dave Vincent with 44lbs.
Future matches: Easter Monday, March 24, sees the first big open taking place at at Tylers Common, so it is advisable to ring for your booking.

Dennis Lipscombe will be running the open matches which started in December on Willow and Ash alternatively on Tuesdays during the winter months.

Matches registrations are at 7.45am, the draw is at 8am and fishing is from 9am till 3pm.
Competition will be keen for Club, Open Championship and the Pairs competition in the coming weeks.
