A 19-year-old male has been arrested after police found a knife with a serrated edge during a routine patrol.

Carl Bevan, 19, of Baron Road, Dagenham, was arrested on Monday, June 26, in Kemp Road, Dagenham, at about 10pm, where police also recovered cannabis.

He was charged with possession of a pointed article and a class B drug and will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 10.
