The former teammates will be at The Broadway Theatre on October 18 from 8pm for what promises to be an evening filled with stories and laughs about their time together at Upton Park on and off the pitch, thoughts about the club’s season so far and their broadcasting careers.

Cottee had two spells at the club, scoring 116 league goals whilst Gale made 300 appearances scoring five goals during his 10-year career at the club.

At the end of the show, there will be a Q & A session giving you the opportunity to ask them your questions.

Mr Gale said: “It’s great that all the local fans turn up and support it because there are so many West Ham fans in Barking and Dagenham.

“We’ll be talking all things sport, our West Ham careers, what we get up to now, our work for Sky Sports and generally talk about football.

“I’d call it an audience with so if you can stop us talking, you’ll be lucky.”

Speaking ahead of the show, the former defender was delighted with West Ham’s most recent result which was a 3-0 derby win against Tottenham.

Mr Gale, who works as a summariser for Sky Sports, said: “I was a commentator on another game but I told someone to keep me up to date with the score.

“When he told me it was 1-0 then 2-0 and then 3-0, I kept thinking about the all my mates at the game who’ve haven’t had the best of luck against them in the last few years.”

“The sooner we can get Andy Carroll fit and get Carlton Cole back the better.
