The flamboyance of Freddie Mercury returns to stages of Southend.
The Queen Tribute band will perform at the Cliffs Pavilion on Sunday July, 20, 2008.
Paul Jackson, a Hornchurch based singer will star as Freddie Mercury and says he enjoys a reputation as UK's number one touring queen show with his band Queen B.
Show producer Michael Taylor said: "We change the line-up of the production every year to keep the show fresh and new for Queen Music fans. This is the most complete queen show we have ever presented at cliffs."
He added; " Paul wears the jewelled crown, cape, leotard and an exact copy of Freddy's mannerisms and charisma, its just like stepping back a couple of decades and seeing queen at the height of their success."
The production will also include two new faces- Paul Metcalf who plays Rod Stewart and Carmel Hunter as Tina Turner
Tickets will cost £19.50 and doors will open at 7.30pm.
