Two unmissable, award-winning theatre shows in one will be gracing the South Woodford stage on Thursday following the stories of three young people who lead very different lives.

For one night only, Chapel Street and Bitch Boxer will be performed at the Lovegrove Theatre.

Bitch Boxer is a revealing portrayal of Chloe, a female boxer training for the fight of her life.

Writer and performer Charlotte Josephine pulled no punches in her research, training with Islington Boxing Club. She said: “I discovered a whole boxing community I knew nothing about, and they warmly welcomed me with a generosity and kindness that, I admit, I found surprising for such a violent sport. I fell in love with it.”

Chapel Street, which will be the first play of the evening to be performed, follows the booze-soaked antics of Kirsty and Joe whose worlds collide – changing both their lives forever.

Straight from sell-out runs at London’s Bush and Soho theatres, the two shows are touring the UK with some of the most celebrated new talent from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012.

It is on at the Lovegrove Theatre, Redbridge Drama Centre, Churchfields, South Woodford on Thursday, May 9, at 8pm.
